What do you spend most of your time doing?

Think of how you spend a usual day, is you time taken up with a lot of tasks that leave you feeling unfulfilled. Do you love your work?

Can you imagine the difference in attempting to succeed in something you don’t enjoy as compared to something you do enjoy? It’s quite obvious that you are more likely to put your full effort into something you love to do or have a passion for as opposed to something you don’t.

Not everything you love to do will have the ability to create a successful career for you, examined more closely though you may be surprised at what you could achieve. It all depends on what you need the final outcome of your interest to be. There is nothing wrong with having an enjoyable hobby but if you can find something you enjoy doing and make it work for you, you have a winning combination.

If you really want to be successful you first have to decide what success means to you. Is it doing a job you don’t enjoy just for a high income? Is it working at anything you can get just to pay the bills? If it is that’s fine, you are to be commended for making the contribution to society that you do. But could you do more or feel better about it if it was something you loved to do?

If you are reading this it’s because you want to be successful so why not do something you love. Having passion is one of the ingredients for success, if you’re not doing something you enjoy how can you do it with any passion, they just don’t go together.

Of course you can get by without passion, but you will join that group of people quick to complain about how unsatisfied with life or their job or their relationship they are. If you rarely feel passionate then life can be dull and meaningless. Passion is a fuel necessary to success.

If you have a passion for something but you are in a job that has nothing to do with your passion your first step would be to consider your options. You are obviously going to feel a certain amount of fear to make a change. Looked at in a positive light your fear can become excitement.

Success can mean you have to take a certain amount of risk, but it is possible to take responsible risks. For example if you decide to leave your job and go into business for yourself you might save a sum of money first, do some research, make a business plan and get some business advice before leaving your job. You might also build it up to a sustainable level before saying goodbye to your boss.

Success for you may not even have a financial value, success in health and relationships are more inportant in this life than financial success, it’s not wise to overlook them.

Focus your thoughts on those things in your life you are passionate about and success just may find you.

Have an Awesome Day

Do you have a Mentor or Coach?

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

The greatest achievers in the world have coaches or mentors, Tiger Woods one of the worlds greatest golfers has a coach that still works him hard so he stays at the top of his game. Jamie McIntyre became a self made millionaire while still in his twenties with the help of a number of personal development and financial mentors. Jamie is now a successful financial educator who has guided many Australians to realise their own financial dreams.photo_2235_20081123

In any field that requires hard work and dedication having a coach or mentor is an essential tool for guiding your success. Many people like Jamie, author of What I Didn’t Learn in School but Wish I Had, have followed the guidelines laid out by successful coaches like Anthony Robbins, Unlimited Power and Robert Kiyosaki, Rich Dad, Poor Dad and used them to build their own wealth.

Creating wealth is completely possible for anyone willing to master their thoughts and follow the lead of successful people who have walked before them. If you are struggling or unsure of how to navigate your way to wealth a coach or mentor like Jamie McIntyre, Anthony Robbins or Robert Kiyosaki have proven strategies you can use and follow.

Conquering your own personal roadblocks like limiting thought patterns, debt or a lack of financial knowledge can all be overcome with the help of a mentor or coach. When choosing a mentor or coach to follow make sure they have already achieved what you are wanting to achieve. If you can’t find one in person books, seminars, webinars, internet forums and homestudy programs are all very effective ways to get the information, knowledge and guidance you need.
